Dear Friend, The Forsyth Family Festival 2009 lived up to its billing as “no ordinary Sunday.” Dave Horton, Cumming Fairgrounds manager, estimated that between 10,000 and 12,000 people attended at various times during the daylong evangelistic festival. The event was recognized by the Forsyth County News as one of the Top Ten Headlines of 2009. More importantly, God was glorified and 96 people publicly professed their newfound faith in Christ. As promised, the Lord of the Harvest proved Himself faithful as the Body of Christ in Forsyth County joined hearts and hands to lift up Jesus through worship and witness. Praying and planning for this year’s Forsyth Family Fest is underway. The Cumming Fairgrounds has been reserved for Sunday, September 12, 2010. Canton Jones will again lead our worship in music joined by Charlie Hall in concert. Evangelist Tony Nolan, who speaks regularly on the Winter Jam Tour as well as youth camps and conferences around the country, will serve as the Festival’s keynote speaker. And Brad Bennett, former BMX motorcross professional, will be performing mind-blowing stunts. We are looking forward, with great anticipation, to what God is going to do this Fall in our churches and community at large through the combined efforts of churches throughout our county. Thank you for your partnership in serving our Lord here in Forsyth County. Dr. Bob Jolly, Pastor |
